ika-Meetup Automated Driving: Much to Learn, You Have
For automated vehicles' perception of surroundings, the semantic interpretation of scenes is of great importance. The automated vehicle must be able to perceive and understand its surroundings. Marius Cordts will explain the use of deep neuronal networks for efficient semantic segmentation of urban scenes in automated driving. He will expand on the relevance of various gateway modalities, such as depth, motion, or object detection, for the semantic segmentation of scenes for automated driving systems.
Dr. Marius Cordts is Principal Engineer in the department of Environment Perception at Daimler AG. He is concerned with the development and utilization of deep neuronal networks for processing image information and he is the creator of the well-known Cityscapes Dataset.
